When God created man he had only one rule that man needed to obey, they were not allowed to eat any fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:16-17). Sadly man made the choice to disobey God and eat of the tree anyway (Genesis 3). Because of that decision we have all been born into sin, we can't live good enough to enter heaven. Our sin has seperated us from God. If that is where the story ended, we would all be doomed to an enternity seperated from God in hell. But there is still good news...
