Because God loved us, He developed a redemption plan. It all started with a man named Abraham and his decendents (Genesis 12:1-3). God knew that the only way to save man was to send a Savior. This man could not be born of a man, but he would come from the seed of a woman (Genesis 3:15). Man was fallen, and the only way to get him back was to send His only Son to die for all mankind...

"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall
conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."     - Isaiah 7:14
